Roberto Fagotto, Runner-Up in ECerS 2nd Bioceramics Student Speech Contest

PhD student Roberto Fagotto gets has achieved second place in the prestigious 2nd Students Speech Contest of the Bioceramics Network.

Held online on November 6–7th, 2025, the contest featured 19 oral presentations and 5 posters by early-career researchers in bioceramics.  A jury of experts assessed the contributions across several categories. 

Fagotto delivered a compelling talk on his work titled “DLP printing reactive scaffolds for bone regeneration”. This recognition is a strong testament to his innovative research in additive manufacturing for bone repair and highlights his growing impact in the field of bioceramics.

Roberto is currently starting the third year of his UPC Doctoral Scholarship and is co-supervised by Prof. María-Pau Ginebra and Dr. Anna Díez-Escudero.
