Postdoc Fellow Jan Grzelak presented his latest results on the antimicrobial calcium phosphate nanotopographies developed within the BAMBBI project and won the Young Scientist Award at the 34th Conference and Annual Meeting of the International Society for Ceramics in Medicine (Bioceramics 34).
Prof. Maria-Pau Ginebra and Postodc Fellow Jan Grzelak have attended the 34th Conference and Annual Meeting of the International Society for Ceramics in Medicine (Bioceramics 34), held in Shanghai (China) from October 18th to the 21st, 2024.
Dr. Grzelak offered an Oral Talk, for which he received the Young Scientist Award, on “Tailoring high-aspect-ratio antimicrobial calcium phosphate nanotopographies: Effect of processing parameters”.
Prof. Ginebra, on the other hand, offered an Invited Talk about “Synchrotron cryo-soft X-ray microscopy sheds light on the interaction of bacteria with nanostructured calcium phosphate substrates”.
